I think alot of people rock Full of Hell shit just to try and fit an image. Same with NAILS but I actually love that band and they are pretty self-destructive when it comes to their popularity, especially in the last few years. Can't stand Twitching Tongues. Hardcore kids only care about wearing 'scene bands' shirts and fashion than they do about actually listening to music. Twitching Tongues vocalist is so bad, makes the music unlistenable.

y'all some h8rs. Disliking a Band or There Fans ≠ A Band Being Over Rated Does it? Is It? Does the thread need renaming to "what bands do you not like that are popular?" pls someone break it down for my small brain Lol no that's pretty much the gist of it. There is nothing wrong with disliking a band per se as long as you're not an asshole about it to their fans for no good reason. If everyone had the exact same taste in music the world be a lot more boring and dreary.

I can't get into Code Orange. I know they kill it live and I do dig a few elements of their songs (The new album feels a little more cohesive). I was a big fan of all their earlier stuff under the 'Kids' moniker... I liked their rawness and 'punk' feel especially on Love is Love // Return to Dust. I just can't handle all this new added sound effect parts to their latest songs. It sounds distracting to me. I'm also not a fan of their 'We Are Hardcore' stage banter. It sounds really forced. I think Vein do this style of metallic hardcore justice... They let the music do the talking. This. I jammed Love is Love hard and was pumped about I Am King but I was let down by it while people around my hyped the shit out of it. As for Full of Hell, I keep listening to all of their stuff trying to like it, but I really lost interest after Rudiments of Mutilation. Their split with Code Orange Kids rips though.

Deez Nuts, used to like their music though. Now I've seen them live like 5 times and everytime they go on stage completely wasted and they act like a bunch of wankers.

I consider myself to be someone who is pretty keen on how the music industry works, ESPECIALLY within our scene, and this one is a god damn mystery to me. I got in to the album Outlawed because it was a lot of fun and the vocalist wasn't too ridiculous at that point but after that i lost all interest.

Personally, and this is just my opinion, All That Remains are generic red neck metal garbage. Them, and FFDP are some of the most overrated shit in Metal today. I'd also add Hellyeah to that list. As far as Breaking Benjamin and In This Moment, I have never liked either Band enough to support them but they're not terrible musically, I find BB to be a little too much like Chevelle and ITM to just be bad Nu Metal with a big boobed singer. I mean, you're not wrong... BB is (or was) more metal than Chevelle, and Chevelle is probably actually a better band lol. All That Remains was good on This Darkened Heart and The Fall of Ideals but everything afterwards drops in quality exponentially with each release. Just awful now. They were solid metalcore on the fall of ideals. That pinch harmonic breakdown on This Calling still gets me almost ten years later

The Fall Of Ideas is by far one the most crucial melodic metalcore albums ever. You gotta love that Mass scene back in the day. Overcome has some good songs too. I really like that album. "Chiron" and "Two Weeks" are such throwbacks.

Still giving props to the Saw III soundtrack for throwing that gem on there.

Fucking Infant Annihilator. I can't tell if people like them ironically or genuinely and it feels like I'm missing a joke or something.

Truth is deathcore kids are just fangirls and they think they are br00tal. Just as they think Acrania and Vulvodynia are slam. Sad!

I see IA hyped up all the time as if they're the forerunners of some deathcore resurgence, but all of their stuff is over-produced cringey garbage. Also the drums are fake as fuck; that dude can make as many playthrough videos as he wants, they don't prove anything with the studio audio slapped on top.
