Maybe this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it anywhere...
Over the last two or three years, as file sharing and downloads became harder, I almost completely stopped listening to music unless I was lifting. I've been HOOKED on podcasts. Here's a list of my favorites and a brief description of each:
Sword And Scale - True crime. Very dry, very little personal opinion, just case facts in all their brutality.
Sword And Scale Rewind - Basically two chicks recap episodes of Sword And Scale with additional new info. More personal opinions and joking than the original podcast.
Last Podcast On The Left - True crime/conspiracy theory related. Three comedians investigate stuff. It's hilarious.
Serial Killers - It's about...serial killers.
Casefile True Crime - True crime podcast based out of Australia. They do international cases too but most cases are Australian and being American I'd not heard of most of them.
Cults - It's about cults. Heaven's Gate, Waco cult, Mormon stuff, etc.
Death Metal Dicks - True crime/serial killer podcast by two comedians who also happen to be metalheads so they reference metal stuff multiple times in every episodes.
Which Side - Vegan Anarchist podcast. Interviews with vegans who did crazy shit to save animals and ended up in prison, etc. Plus other vegan SJW type interviews.
Escape Velocity Radio - More vegan stuff by the dude who sings for propagandhi.
Organic Healthy Life - Info on how to live vegan and be healthy. It's by an old ass white lady. No one will enjoy it but I do haha.
Secular Buddhism - Podcast that uses Buddhist parables and teachings minus all the faith/dogma stuff that turns people off of "religion." Secular literally means without religion.
Waking Up With Sam Harris - Atheist scientist dude badmouths religion.
What podcasts do you guys listen to?

I think there was but that is fine with me.
Stuff You Should Know - Two guys who talk about random subjects such as human transplant, 7 ancient wonders of the world, silly putty, spam, whatever.
Lore Podcast - True life historic folklore.
Those have been might go-to recently.

Lore Podcast - True life historic folklore. Those have been might go-to recently. LORE is really good! There's a LORE television show, I think on Amazon. It's really good. It's just the podcast audio but some images , animation and acting over top of it.

Im going to give some of those a try.
My Podcast App (which by the way I use Overcast, absolutely 10x better than the new Apple Podcast App.) is literred with College Football podcasts, so if anyone is into College Football hit me up and I will let you know which ones I listen to the most.
Rogan - I rarely listen to Rogan much anymore, I have found myself going back to the old episodes and re listening to those. Ive been a die hard rogan listener since his 12th podcast ever.
Ari Shaffirs Skeptic Tank - Probably my favorite podcast, Ari is the best.
F1 And Done - Cool US podcast about F1 with three buddies who are really entertaining. I think they all have a punk background too of some sort.
Punch Drunk Sports - It is suppose to be a sports podcast but they rarely talk sports. Hilarious and one of my favorites, if youre easily offended, this aint the podcast for you.
Planet Money - Just found this one and its cool / unique stories about our economy and other such facets/ Each episode is about 20-30 mins long.
All the rest of my podcasts (12 of them) are all college football. I am a fucking nerd.

I'm un-offend-able so I might love that even though I hate sports haha.

Do You Know Who Jason Segel Is? is my personal favorite also the Sound Abyss, but there's only one episode, but the host is the best. Such a great sense of humor, great looking, definitely not me....

I second lore. I got pretty hooked on it and blew through all the eps in a few days while at work. its my go to podcast, I haven't checked out the show yet but maybe I might with mikexpresley saying it was good. SOME I REALLY LOVED ARE: S-Town - about a man named John who despises his Alabama town and decides to do something about it. an investigation into some rich boy who got away with murder. Missing Richard Simmons - out of nowhere Richard Simmons stopped going to the class he taught for years, stopped talking to his friends, and stayed out of public. this dude searches for reasons why and investigates. I didn't really care or know anything about Richard Simmons but this was a crazy ride. TANIS - a serialized docudrama about a fascinating and surprising mystery. about a mythical place called Tanis. I was pretty hooked. ONES I CURRENTLY LISTEN TO: David dobrik and Jason Nash VIEWS - because I enjoy their youtube videos. its like the behind the scenes of them. haha The /Filmcast - movie and television reviews. probably one of the best film podcasts out there. hosts are really entertaining and funny at times. you can tell they really put a lot of time into this to make it great. This American Life - random articles, stories, subject in every ep, very informational at times. if you like political things, this could be one for you. most of it isn't political though like the last one I listened to was about some 4 year old boy that went missing and then was found but the mom didn't recognize him and probably ended up being someone elses kid but still kept him haha. Conspiracy theories - pretty new podcast. just released their 4th one yesterday. they talk about what happened in one ep then the next what the conspiracy is. one is about princess Diana and the new one is about Area 51. it has like a fun feel to it. Welcome To Nightvale - I usually play this to sleep. like an old radio show of news broadcasts about a fictional town of nightvale. creepy things happen there. good for sleeping

I listen to both HollyWood Babylon and the Comedy Button Religiously to sooth my funny bone. Game Over Greggy show is also a good one. For science can't go with the BBC Dr Karl radio show.

The two current podcasts I'm listening to right now: - In the Dark Season Two. I thought the first season of this pod was excellent but so far season two is a bit of a let down. The case that they're investigating just isn't that interesting. It feels a bit like the first season of Serial if you took away everything that made it good. Sticking with it for now.
- Heaven's Gate. About the Californian UFO cult which gained notoriety in the late 90s when 39 of its members took part in a mass suicide. Really fascinating insight and the presenter is a former cult member himself.
