I've played about 2 hours of this game so far and I've got some quick impressions for anyone who may be interested. The most important thing to keep in mind with Vampyr is that this is not a triple A quality game. The run animations are goofy, some of the voice acting switches moods unnaturally, the combat is pretty sub par, and the graphics aren't anything breathtaking. But it has some really interesting concepts. The dialogue is very similar to Mass Effect, which I love. It allows you to choose dialogue trees and unlock further dialogue options the more people you talk to and the more clue you find. While this mechanic isn't implemented perfectly or anything groundbreaking it really helps in making you interested in the story. Almost every character you talk to can be killed and feasted on. The more you learn about a person, the more XP you get if you feed on them. Given the short amount of playtime I can't say too much about the overall story. Some of it seems pretty cliche and even somewhat lazy but I'm intrigued and want to know more about the world. I don't think I would pick this up at full price unless you're a huge fan of vampire mythology but otherwise once this drops down to $40 it will definitely be worthwhile for anyone to play.

Saw an article the other day (didn’t have time to read it) that said that if you save people instead of killing them, the longer (better?) the game gets.
