Thanks, I was about to edit it in the post above. It was pretty late and I totally forgot about that... Sorry.

What a bunch of miserable piles of dog shit. Sick to the stomach reading these statements of the victims.

Everyone knew Larissa made the band anyways. I fucking hate that so many guys are like this and don't even realize what trash they are. I got into hardcore over a decade ago to escape this kind of behavior and it sickens me to have seen over the years how many idiots have misinterpreted what this beautiful scene is all about, togetherness. Keep your fucking ugly mits to themselves.

What makes me even more angry are all those ignorant comments victim blaming even after WD posted a statement saying it's true.

I didnt read the whole thing, did the dudes actually admit to it?
I hate when guys try to defend themselves in these situations with their "past" or other bullshit. You do not touch a woman who doesnt want to be touched, that simple. I dont fucking get these guys.

I don't know, I feel like if he's telling the truth in his statement then there's not really much more that can be expected of him at this point - he quit the band and claims he's seeing a therapist to try to unlearn his toxic behaviour. Of course, the fact that he waited to be outed before taking these actions is pretty shitty, but moving forward he should be treated with suspicion rather than just assumed to be a rapist. Clearly the band knew about his and Sven's actions for years, so that's pretty unforgivable, but on the personal level I am wary of the extreme villification that they're receiving now. I guess I'm on the fence about whether someone who crossed blurry lines of consent in the past is an evil rapist who deserves to suffer, or just another poorly educated man who was raised badly. I do have some sympathy for the point where he says he "played a part in fucked up patriarchal mechanisms and rape culture. A culture that teaches men to take „what is theirs“ without asking and that blames women for the consequences. A culture that pressures men to take the active role and forces women to take the passive one.”, because without proactive sex education (which cannot be taken for granted) to oppose such beliefs, those really are the messages that we as men recieve from a patriarchal media, and while it's shitty behaviour from anyone who acts on those beliefs, I don't know if it's fair or productive to label all such men as evil rapists. That said, incidents like these highlight for me what women go through in male-dominated spaces like hardcore, and it's difficult to imagine having to deal with the fear that every man you encounter is like this.

I think that's fair enough. I know how surprised and fucking awful I would feel if any of the girls I had been with for a night or two came to me after some time and informed me that I had treated them wrongly or abused them in some sort of blurry way. I know I would want to apologize profusely, educate myself and change immediately though. Still, how the "aggressor" feels about the situation should definitely only be an after-thought, because I think it's safe to say that dumb-but-well-intentioned dudes only make up a small minority of sexual abusers. Most are genuine human waste.

Yo the first statement from the girls says that girl 1 wasn't even asked if she wants to sleep with him, but if she got asked he took the "no" as a "change my mind " or that she suddenly got penetrated without asking while she had turned her back to him and that is from my point of view pretty hard to swallow. Also you cannot go on stage, propagate feminism and the fight for it, playing songs with lyrics (which Larissa wrote) for the fight of feminism and against the patriarchate while you be such a prick to women. Abusing them in your relationship, exchange nudes with your friend laughing about "how dumb all the girls are, but hot" and stuff.

Abusing them in your relationship, exchange nudes with your friend laughing about "how dumb all the girls are, but hot" and stuff. Obviously I don't speak German, trying to decipher the statement from a free internet was a difficult process haha. To my understanding, it seemed like girl 1 decided long after there was consensual sex that something he did without asking wasn't cool. To be crude, it sounded like he put it in her ass during consensual relationship sex without asking and she told him later that it wasn't okay. If what you are saying is the truth however, then you are 100% correct, it's fucking dispicable and unforgivable. Regardless of what happened in the bedroom, FUCK this band for pushing feminism so hard and not following a word of it. Thanks for the clarification.

..., incidents like these highlight for me what women go through in male-dominated spaces like hardcore, and it's difficult to imagine having to deal with the fear that every man you encounter is like this. As a woman in hardcore I can only tell you that there's a reason I don't date hardcore-guys anymore. This sort of behaviour is very common unfortunately. But reading some of the comments here (from men) about this incident is great! Danke.

All of my female friends in hardcore have come to a similar conclusion.
