I'm A Mormon
I'd love to be able to upload some files for the site (and put them in the user uploaded section blah blah blah...), but I've never uploaded a file for public access.
Help me out?

I attempted to upload an album but all I got were individual links to each song with Zippyshare, i apologize for being a newb. Was hoping to add an album to the user submitted section. It's a friends band, who is celebrating the release of their album today. Can someone maybe outline how to upload the entire album as one via zippyshare? Thanks.

Use 7zip or Winrar to add all the files to a zip/rar file first. Then upload that.

Hey there, so I have a Mac, and I've been struggling to find a reliable free program to help compress the files. Im capable of compressing them using my Mac's Archive Utility to a zip file, but I'm unsure if anyone will be able to open it after I upload it. The file reads as a cpgz.zip once it's compressed. Is this normal? Again I apologize for being a newbie. If there is an easier free program to download for mac to zip files let me know. Thank you!

A file ending with .zip will do the trick, so you're good. You could also install WinRAR. You'll be able to open .rar and .7z, I think.

if you have a mac you can just use the archive utility or download the unarchiver from the mac app store
