18V ruled back in the day. I was surprised to see them dive SO far back in the previous musical style, but the new stuff is HEEEEAVY.

Didn't expect such a record from them When they came back, I figured they'd pick up where they left off, most bands too. I wasn't opposed to that either, but the fact that they kind of ignored the last too albums and dug further back into their catalog of style is awesome. |

I've never really cared for this band but I thought I'd give this a try. I'm in the minority thinking it's straight up terrible. I can barely make it through the first two songs. The lyrics are so awful and Hart's voice is annoying as fuck. I'd just rather listen to Disembodied Heretic because that's what this sounds like a ripoff of.

Fair enough. It took me forever to really get into 18V after lots of tries. I totally get why people don't like this band.

Finally listening to this today.
It's truly unbelievable, i mean that literally, how good this is. Who really expected this? Even with the album teasers the last couple months, i figured it was a dupe, like one or two heavy songs, the rest a bunch of clunkers. But this is crazy, they really just made a balls out heavy as shit record.
Damn. It's great.

Casey Jones was so sick. I caught them on their farwell tour. Awesome, I didn't know he had joined. He's in so many bands, it's ridiculous. |
