I saw the BOP trailer and it was so cringy that she didn't swear in it but according to your review she is going to swear? Pretty fun movie with some plot twists. It looked like it would be the last movie in this franchise the way they rounded things up story wise but the end showed potential for another Bad Boys movie. Which they shouldn't do.

Almost too many, maybe? You better like hearing "mothafuckas" in a Brooklyn accent because you will get it 30 times in this movie.

The latest ESPN 30 for 30, a two-parter about Mike Vick. I enjoyed this a ton, it's patient and extremely detailed. You all know how much second chances and redemption arcs mean to me, and I am all about that. letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/vick-2019/

Landmark 1982 film -- the first feature-length drama directed by a black American woman since the 1920s -- that's simply remarkable and excellent. A testament to a filmmaker whose life was too short. letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/losing-ground/

I actually found a theatre showing this movie! Amazing, the day before the Osars, I've now seen all the ones I want to see (37 out of 38). It's also excellent, absolutely worthy of its nomination. A slow born drama with a tense and excellent ending. letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/corpus-christi-2019/

An important moment in cinema, Sidney Poitier won the first Best Actor award for a person of color for this film in 1964. The movie itself is hokey but charming, though he is magnificent in it. letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/lilies-of-the-field/

No lie, Sidney Poitier is steadily climbing up the ranks of my favorite actors of all time. I plan on at least two or three more Poitier films this February to continue to celebrate Black History Month. Oh, also, I watched this one more time, for the first time at home: Absolute masterpiece. Fingers crossed for the Oscars. letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/parasite-2019/2/

Jojo Rabbit3.5 / 5 - Not a bad film at all, but it didn't live up to the hype imo.

Interesting but scattered documentary about women in their 20 and 30s navigating the politics of being being and unmarried in a nation that does not value feminine independence. Good attempt, but an unfocused narrative. letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/leftover-women/
