So fucked up. Never knew anything about CJ really other than being a disgustingly good vocalist, but this shit don't fly. If it's true, fuck this guy. If it ends up being some false shit, then fuck everybody involved.

I have a feeling we might get a After The Burial situation on our hands.
Rareform was re-released with a new vocalist (mainly because of a remaster, but whatever).
I'm sure they have to pay off CJ in some sort of way, benefiting off his voice.... But, who knows?
Time will tell. I'm sure this isn't the end of this.

I’m really happy they’re releasing it, it’s an album of the year contender for me based on the tracks they put out so far. I don’t want good music to go to waste all because of cancel culture.
He sounds like a total scumbag but I have no difficulty separating the artist from the music.

I don’t follow the band, haven’t heard anything they put out in quite a few years. But absolutely, I can listen to it and not have to be troubled with a complex over who is doing the music. Honestly, a lot of musicians from all styles of music are shady, scandalous, and rough around the edges as people. Often times, music is what gives people a chance at life, as you can really be any kind of person and still make music. That black metal band Burzum, or the one man band, he released music while in prison that people worship, not because of his status as a criminal, but because the music was good enough for the audience. If we really spent time getting to truly know the musicians we support and listen to, we’d probably get disappointed a lot. Lol. |
