Currently reading this. I love a good detective thriller. Ayy, that's currently my favorite book of his. If you're looking to read other stories by Keigo Higashino, I highly recommend Naoko (p fucked up), The Devotion of Suspect X and A Midsummer's Equation. Currently reading Newcomer, came out in English a few months ago. Pretty enjoyable so far.

I started reading "13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do". I really dig books on mental health, mental strength and self-help/self-improvement.

Coming to the end of Brave New World. What to get stuck into next..... What kind of books do you typically enjoy reading? Mostly non fiction books about world events but I like classic books as well so I'm a bit all over the place. Not a fan of science fiction or fantasy or anything like that. I recently read In Praise Of Blood by Judi Rever and that was amazing.

It's a great autobiography, and very enjoyable even if someone doesn't like tennis.

Will keep a look out for the Andre Agasi book too.

I'll keep this one short and sweet! As well as I can for my book rantings.
The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher: One of the best series I have ever read it's funny, engaging and manages to get better every single book. I just read 15 of these books and I want 15 more. 5/5
The Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb: Thought this book was okay, kind of boring at times, but this is the entry point of a wildly popular series that I hear only gets better and I look forward to continuing. 3.5/5 with optimism
Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft: Awesome first book by an up and coming fantasy/steampunk author, I had a few minor issues with it but I can't wait to see where it goes. 4.5/5 will read everything that comes out of this series.

Haven't posted an update in awhile because our busy season has slowed my reading pace, if anyone cares:
Senlin Ascends: DNF'd book 2 I realized I just stopped caring and spaced out every time it was on.
I kept going with The Farseer trilogy despite a weak first entry. Absolutely loved the second book and am enjoying the hell out of the third. This world has like 5 connected series so I'm curious how much I'll explore it.
After falling flat with Senlin Ascends I decided to reread Wheel of Time so I can be refreshed before the show comes. I love this series to bits and it's such a wonderful reread. If you're not scared off by a 14 book epic I would encourage most people to dive in.

Finished The Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb, absolute masterpiece I absolutely loved it. I've already started on her next trilogy in the same universe, I think there's like 15 books in this series. So I have a lot to look forward to.
On the 6th book of my first Wheel of Time re-read as I freshen up on it before the show comes out, it's even better the second time through! The foreshadowing and foresight Robert Jordan had was absolutely unreal, little moments and lines from book 1 literally set up for things that happen in book 14, and pay off oh so well. Going to take a break after this book because...
A Little Hatred by Joe Abercrombie is coming out this month! The first book in his second trilogy from his First Law Universe, First Law is one of my favorite series of all time and he has 3 standalone novels in the same world, 2 of them are really good and one was meh. Regardless, Joe is one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to jump back into this world.

"Officer Mark Adams is fed up with God, his wife and the legal constraints of his job. He longs for a life he can enjoy and to see true justice meted out. Chad Bigleby is a lawyer thrown into a deadly moral quagmire, forced to decide whether he will abide by man’s laws or make his own. Each man is being driven to the edge of his limits. Both men are on a collision course." I'm currently reading "Low" by Mike Duke and it's hard to put down. It came highly recommended in a horror book group that I'm in on facebook.

One of my favorite series, if you need to get any crazy thoughts or theories off your chest shoot me a message, I've read these books 3-4 times now. And you will want to as well, every time you read them you pick up something new.
