Am I fucking up by never having listened to this band before? Just never got into them for some reason. I didn't listen to them for years. But they're good, and worth trying all their records since they each have different sounds. Sometimes recently they do get really like, like a Thousand Foot Krutch kind of lame, but mostly they can play instruments loudly and quite well and the vocalist is talented.

I was pretty convinced that my pick would be Hollow Crown, but then I listened to Nightmares again and damn I forgot all these banger tracks. Imo there isn't one bad song on that album and I could definitely see myself skip one or two tracks on Hollow Crown BUT Hollow Crown has a bigger emotional value, hitting me at the right time etc. So its a veeeeery close pick on Hollow Crown over Nightmares.

The weirdo who voted for The Here and Now needs to make themselves known. Now I didn't vote, but I earlier mentioned that The Here and Now was my favorite of the three that I've listened to. What I don't understand is why everyone hates this album... I haven't listened to this band in three or more years, but I just now listened to it a little and I still think it has a great balance of energy and melodic hooks. Is it that people just prefer the band on the heavier side? I personally thought this album was well balanced.

Yeah for me it's that they're pretty great at doing the heavy stuff and this one was just too much of a change on the lighter side. They seemed to find that sweet spot on the last 2 records again
