Sooooo just curious anyone interested in doing beer trading on here?
Yes I know it's kinda out of the realm of this board, but I'm a beer fanatic so I figured I'd leverage my love for metal with beer as well.

I imagine it'd be pick up a case of beer from one of your favorite local breweries and ship it to another Mosher in exchange for a case of their favorite local brewery. Interesting idea, I'm probably moving soon so will be more interested when I get settled in.

I'd love to do this but shipping from the UK would cost an absolute bomb

In the U.S. you need a license to transport beer across state lines. Not saying I don't condone, just saying you should all be careful and I love all my marshers too much to see anyone in trouble. <3
At a minimum, pad around the bottles with some newspaper so they don't clink around during transit.
Also I'm definitely interested, metro Atlanta has some pretty good breweries.

Dude, their “Arrogant Bastard” and “Xocoveza” beers are gooooooooood. So glad they moved a brewery over to Germany so we can enjoy them in the UK now Flying Dog brewery out here in MD always some nuts flavors hence their one of their flagship beers is titled Raging Bitch. Also, I know transporting beer across state lines is illegal, but I know a couple of buddies of mine in PA who trade regularly. Ditto on the shipping costs being a bitch though. If I would trade it would be cans only to keep them from busting.

This trading would be interesting if one were driving for a meetup, or would that still be considered "illegal"? Because we have a brewery here called New Glarus that's only sold within state lines, ergo a "state-exclusive" beer unless one visited the state, and it's fucking delicious. One of a tiny handful of breweries I've tasted multiple wares where I can honestly say that they can do no wrong.

Think i've tried about 40 of their beers. They do some good stuff

Could we do this, but in similar fashion to Secret Santa. We pair Marshers together and have them ship a few bottles of local craft beers to each other and maybe do a little video or review each beer?
