I just started playing with my brother but honestly it just seems like a major money/time sink (but what f2p isn't?). Its really fun though, borderline addicting. With Un'Goro out I wanna build a Quest Rogue deck since that seems to be a strong deck in the meta. Tavern Brawl is really fun and adventures are cool. Currently I'm trying an Adept Hunter deck with what I've pulled from packs. Ranked is really depressing though when I see the same deck four times in a row but I'm happy to sit at 20 right now. Any pointers would help! Is buying Adventures worth the money?

I played for awhile but lost interest as it became more apparent that I would get stomped by people who bought packs and I was just playing when I could. I love the fact you can play it mobile though and the tavern brawls always make it fun and exciting.

I've been playing since the beginning so i have most of the cards aside from the newer set. You will lose to people with better cards just like any other card game. Of course you could boost yourself by paying for cards. I don't think this is needed.
I think the adventures are worth the money for how much I play the game. They usually have cards that will benefit you but make sure you are only getting the adventures you will use since these will rotate out of standard. As a new player, I would say making sure you clear quests at least every 3 days, and doing the tavern brawl once a week, would be the best way of getting cards for free. Instead of buying packs directly try using your gold for arena. You will have more fun matches because it is a more level playing field than ranked. You, also, get the chance of getting more value for you gold if your deck does well!
That Rogue Quest Deck is really good right now and I don't see that changing but the meta will set in after the tournament coming up. I don't have the quest card for rogue yet but i'm trying a living mana druid deck that's been going pretty alright but been focusing on arena mostly myself.

Been playing on and off since launch, but I haven't really invested the time (or cash) to push for legend in this game.
I mainly play mid-range hunter when I do standard ranked since it was fairly cheap on dust and pretty effective. I also play an older pirate warrior deck too, but that's mainly just for quest completions. Working on putting an elemental mage deck together right now, but need a bit more dust for a few cards I still don't have from Un'Goro.
I'm on and off throughout the week so add me if you guys need to complete quests or anything, just give me a heads up you're from TDM so I know who you are.

i played abit of the beta, then played at official launch aswell, without blowing my trumpet i was pretty good tbh, that first couple of months or so. But i didnt have the time to grind through it, and at this point a few years later, im missing expansions worth of cards, knowledge and experience. Great game, but its past me now.
I honestly don't know how someone would play right now with the amount of cards you just wouldn't have.

Seems really hard to keep up with the meta, putting down a load of cash to get all the good cards each time a new expansion comes out. Was really into it for the first few months it was out though, Blizzard know how to make addictive games.

I've been playing since the very beginning, so I've been able to stay F2P and still have a decent collection. Right now I'm playing Renolock in wild and Elemental Shaman in standard.

I started playing just before Un'goro came out and it's definitely been addictive. Tried out Quest Rogue, Murloc Paladin, Token Druid, @ Secret Mage, hitting rank 8 last month. But honestly I've found ranked play to be pretty frustrating most of the time and have found much more enjoyment in playing the arena. At least there you have the chance to draft something crazy instead of relying on opening packs.

I've been playing since launch and I play often still. Un'goro meta has gotten kinda stale with aggro shaman still a problem. I play midrange to control decks mostly, currently using Lyra Priest and a faster secret mage with more burst. Happy to play with any of you guys just PM me your ID.

Un'goro meta turned me off so i've had my first extended break since Naxx. Waiting for Lich King.. hopefully that spices things up a bit. The new hero powers look pretty great.
