This is the first week with byes, everybody, so pay attention to your rosters! This week it's only two teams, the Jets and the 49ers, but at the least make sure you have those guys on the bench. For the next 2 months, this is when it gets fun and the waiver wire is full of craziness. Good luck!

It looks like there is a limit to how many times we can enlist new players from the free agents. 10 times in a season. Am I right? It shows I’ve already used 6 of 10 waivers. Not sure if I understand that right.
Also, I’m just really frustrated with Todd Gurley right now. He’s a great running back and he is just not getting the ball. Meanwhile, I’ve got a Phillip Lindsay scoring mega points out of nowhere benched because I have lower expectations for him than Gurley. Looks like I need to bench or let go of Gurley... Seems the Rams are focused on their passing game.
Also, I am really enjoying that this FFL has me checking out other teams I normally don’t check out. I’ve watched highlights from each of the Buffalo Bills games this time since they are my Defense team on my roster. I didn’t expect it, but I’m becoming a fan of this team now that I’m watching them play a bit. And they’re doing great this season so far. Can’t wait to see how they fair against the Patriots next week, although I’m not going to play any of the players against Patriots because I’m afraid they won’t do so hot. Patriots are still killing it, as expected.
Also, didn’t expect the Lions to do so well, but they’re hanging in there.

Not sure if I understand that right. Oh god no, that's way way wrong! It's the ORDER in which your waivers are accepted. I explained this a little ways up in the thread: So, yeah, it just means you are SIXTH IN LINE to pick up waiver players from Monday night to Wednesday morning, when the true free agency window is closed and everyone is able to fairly and equally shop for players. For example, i used two waiver picks this week, and it knocked me back to tenth in line in the league, which is fair because, well, i added two players yesterday. It's a way to make the process more equitable. It doesn't mean i can't get who i want during that time, but it does mean that technically THE ENTIRE LEAGUE is ahead of me in choosing whatever player i wish. If i try to add someone late Monday night, and no one else claims him, i'm golden. But if even ONE team claims that player on waivers too (unbeknownst to me), i'm out of luck this week. I have the league set for "Reset Each Week to Inverse Order of Standings" which is fair. As far as i know, there are no limits onto how many claims or adds you can make. EDIT: I just checked the league settings -- which i , uh, control -- and it's set to "No Limit" for season acquisitions. So, Master P would be proud.

I’ve mostly made good decisions on waivers, but this week I got Tyler Knox in of the Bills as a Tight End to use after week 4 is over since he was awesome last week, but I didn’t know he got more play action because another player was injured. I hate when I do something dumb like that. And also it helps me recover from some not understanding how to draft at the beginning that led to my having some interesting choices because I didn’t think I was doing it right. Hahaha

I really wasn’t paying attention and didn’t realize Eagles were playing a game before Sunday. Lol, glad I moved Sproles to the bench a while back. And also excited Eagles pulled off the win. The Packers were playing great this year, and I expected Eagles to lose. Wentz got me some decent points. Not a bad start to my week scores.

Friendly reminder to ignore ESPN's "projections". They have no idea what they're talking about. They projected 7 points for Jordan Howard last night and he dropped 30+. Needless to say I should've started him.

Needless to say I should've started him. To be fair, almost no one predicted the Eagles to win that game, much less score 34 points on what was then the league's best defense (scoring-wise). The Eagles still split up their running backs a lot, among Howard and Sanders and Sproles. They're not very "fantasy-friendly" with a running back by committee... so you're gonna have weeks like this where one goes off, then the next week it'll be another, then the week after that they'll all be bad, etc.

If only considering the projected scores, we are looking at a tight game. I’m not completely trusting the projections however, as my move to bench Todd Gurley might indicate. I won my first ever fantasy game last week. Good feels.

Good game, Team Crowe! I never would have guessed it would have come down to my kicker making the game for me. Genuinely exciting to wake up to and seeing a nail biter of a game. Your kicker especially killed it. He’s one of the best, no question.
Really frustrated with Gurley. I benched him this week due to his extra limited play action in previous weeks. Had no idea he would outscore all my other running backs. What the hell do I do with this kind of inconsistency? Kinda wanna drop him, but then he’s capable of so much more...

Just make sure to tell me the exact day and time you plan to do so. No reason.
