Did anyone even bother getting this on PC? It was one of my most anticipated games of the year until I played the beta. Pretty much everything I've read about this game post-launch has made it sound like complete dick, too. Sucks because I've been itching for a new party-based multiplayer game that isn't plagued with shitlords like Overwatch.

I got it for PC and just reached max level and so far I've had a blast with it. That being said I got it mainly to play with my old raiding buddies and can't speak to it's end game content yet. But the campaign was really good, the graphics were great, and I'm having a lot of fun playing with the homies.

The Destiny community has started calling the end game the friend game. My friends and myself have been playing since launch and we basically only play on Tuesday and Friday. We pretty much have all the loot we want and the only reason we continue to play is because we find it fun to go through the nightfalls and raids every week. Otherwise you hit the ceiling pretty quickly and they didn't really put a lot of good loot in the prestige versions of anything. They will be making some changes though every season, so at the very least you can expect regular updates of new loot every quarter.

end game is butts. they took out way too much from D1. Mad about it. Still the smoothest game I've ever played on PC, but it's not enough. I know what to expect once I hit end game and I want more. They made it way too casual for my liking.

Looking forward to it. I get on for PvP all the time but my friends list has dwindled drastically since everyone maxed out on everything right away.

So I ended up getting this anyways because I'm a shitter and I'm enjoying it way more than the beta, but the PvP is still retarded. Does anyone actually play it regularly?
Also did anyone else roll Warlock? My first character was one and I ended up hating how clunky it was. Switched to Hunter and it's way more fun, despite the lack of any utility.

I personally really dislie the PvP and only play it when Iron Banner rolls around. Until they add in more match types they likely won't be pulling the crowd for PvP. I thought the original Destiny PvP was a lot more enjoyable. Warlocks are pretty clunky. The fluidness of a Hunter is hard to beat. Currently, hunters lack a decent ability but they have some of the more versitile supers for PvP/PvE encounters. Walrock's healing rift and the Titan's shield walls can really be a matter of life and death in some situations though. I tend to find different people prefer different classes and how they play. I'm personally really enjoying my Titan but that is because pulse grenades are beyond broken.

How's the Titan in terms of how smooth it is? I liked the subclass with the shield throw in the beta even though I didn't play it much.

They're still a bit floaty but they're a lot faster feeling than a Warlock. Also, can't stress enough how overpowered pulse grenades are right now and with one of the Titan subclasses you can hold 2 of them! I recommend everyone to try out a Titan before they get nerfed in season 2.

Got really hooked pretty fast. One character above 300 and another just below it. Just...don't feel like playing now. Very 0-60 for me.

Titans get shit done right now with those pulse grenades. If you end up running the raid you will continually see how overpowered they are. I suspect that to change drastically come December 5th. All subclasses right now kind of have exotic armor that makes them better. For a Titan that is running Sentinel you definitely want to have the Doom Fang Pauldron exotic arm armor. This allows you to throw your shield like crazy and is probably the best for clearing adds for the Titan. If you're running a Sunbreaker Titan you would likely want to roll with the Hallowfire Heart exotic chest armor. This is especially useful on Nightfalls with Torrent as the modifier. This basically lets you throw grenades non-stop and Thermite grenades are a close second to pulse grenades. Otherwise, for all subclasses I would recommend the Crest of Alpha Lupi exotic chest which gives you some health back when you activate your barrier. The Hunter probably has the best subclasses to pair with exotics. If you're rolling a hunter and using a Nightstalker you have to get the Orpheus Rig exotic leg armor. Make sure you don't have your tether set to shoot multiple arrows and you'll pretty much use your super and get another one if there are 5 or more enemies getting tethered. With Gunslinger you'll want to have the Celestial Nighthawk exotic helmet armor. This makes your Golden Gun fire one shot but the amount of damage this thing does is insane! If you're using Arcstrider you would definitely want to have the Raiden Flux exotic chest, this can make clearing adds with your super extremely powerful. Warlocks kind of get the shaft when it comes to subclasses and exotics this time around. I would still bet on Stormcaller being the best subclass for clearing adds, with Voidwalker as your single target. If you pair your Voidwalker with the Nezarec's Sin exotic helmet you can get some pretty crazy health regeneration going with Devour on in your subclass tree. The main perk to Warlocks right now is 100% their Rift ability. It is still great for healing and buffing during encounters.

I was running a Voidwalker Warlock with Devour and the gloves that increase melee damage on kill or whatever. Kind of hilarious running around and punching everything to death in one shot, but also really one-dimensional. The only Warlock subclass I actually like is Dawnblade, which feels least useful by a wide margin.
I'm currently running a Nightstalker Hunter with the pants that increase jump height and a Striker Titan with the Skullfort helmet. I'll have to keep an eye out for those other exotics you mentioned, especially the one for Gunslingers as that was my favorite Hunter subclass while leveling. Hopefully Xur has some of them this weekend.
