Let's talk about shoes! Useful sites/apps: Goat App, Restocks app, sneakernews.com PS: If anyone is size 11 and is looking to snag a pair of Ultra Boost 3.0 in Mystery Blue, I'm trying to sell a pair. Wore them 3 times, but 11 was too snug on me.

For anyone interested in the Adidas Ultra Boost shoes, you can register for VIP at www.roadrunnersports.com for 1.99$. It gives you 20% off all purchases on the site, which is rather convenient for these 179.99$ MSRP shoes. I don't believe there's a min purchase req for the VIP signup, so you can snag a pair and cancel or couple of pairs during the year. I believe the 2nd year goes up to 27.99$/yr. Also, comes with a 90day return policy which is pretty crazy for shoes. They currently only sell the Mystery Blue, Core Black, and Grey variants. Pretty basic colorways, but 164$ for Ultra Boost is worth it for a pair of these comfortable shoes.

Are the Flyknits comfortable? I looked at some when I was looking to switch from barefoot running shoes and a lot of people said they suck for actual running, so I never picked any up. I could use new casual/everyday shoes, though.

12k I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the Ultra Boost STs are your pairs specifically for running? If so, how are they compared to other Stability running shoes you have worn? I wanna buy a pair only because I've heard great things about Boost technology but $180 feels kinda steep for me.

I wanna buy a pair only because I've heard great things about Boost technology but $180 feels kinda steep for me. I do use the STs for running over the standard UB pair. They're really comfortable. The impact when your fit hits the ground isn't as profound on your feet because of the Boost sole compared to my non-Boost running shoes. They have more boost than the standard UB version as well, so they're definitely geared more for running than the standard imo. Compared to my other running shoes (New Balance 1260v6 and Hoka OneOne Arahi) the UB STs are easily more comfortable to run in because of the shock absorption and light feel of the shoe. Are they worth 180$ ??? My NBs were 150 and I'd be fine with those if I'd never purchased the UB STs. I haven't felt any plantar fascitis pains with the STs, so they're doing their part for correcting my over-pronation. I'm sure you could go with a ~100$ pair of stability shoes that are lightweight and be content with that. I'd only recommend the STs if you really want to try an Ultra Boost shoe for running and have the disposable income. Also, the UB STs like the regular UB have little bumps for the bottom of the shoe that I've heard wear down around 40-60miles, which a lot of people are not happy with. That could be another factor in going against them. I use them for treadmill running and my other shoes for trail or road runs. I hope that increases the longevity those little bumps.

I could use new casual/everyday shoes, though. Honestly, do not use any Nikes for running, they all kinda suck for running shoes. With that being said, I am a dumbass and spend my money of just every day shoes rather than running shoes so I still use my Roshe's for running. they are comfortable for short running (anything under 5 miles id say) but other than that they will kill you. Flyknits are super comfy and form fitting but from what ive been told, they do not offer a lot of support. If you want to get them just to stunt, then fucking do it. Beautiful sneakers!

Yeah, I meant more for casual wear. I read that it's easy for your feet to slide around on the sole if you run in them because of the way the upper is built, but that doesn't really matter to me in terms of a casual shoe. I got fitted for a pair of Hokas (gaudy as fuck, but they're by far the best running shoes I've had since I cracked my femur a few years ago) last summer and I don't see myself switching to another brand for running anytime soon.

I could use new casual/everyday shoes, though. Flyknit is a technology, not an actual model. If you mean the Flyknit Racers, those are god damn amazing. I walked 20km and then 40km in two days without my feet feeling like shit in them. Highly recommended for everyday shoes. Not sure about running.
