A new single should drop this month, I think it's Model Citizen. It's on the warped compilation cd that comes out soon! I'll keep my eyes peeled

After so many years still going this hard. In fact the only band who plays this "down-tempo" style I can enjoy. And that artwork is pretty dope too. Stoked af. Seriously. Almost two decades and the art is always spot on. Angry Blue's Store <--- if anyone wants to pick up a print! Been scrolling through the store and realised that the dude also designed some of BMTH early merch and the Sister Charlatan for Bleeding Throughs album Declaration, super tight designs

Haven't listened since continent You're missing out, man! I love everything they've done, Death Is The Only Mortal is my favorite, but check out Coma Witch, it's their most similar to continent release imo.

Can't wait to hear the rest of the album, but I gotta say MerchNow sucks again with the preorders.
At least the 2nd time I've preordered (the largest bundle) and I won't get it by the release date. Shit said it was supposed to ship around the 23rd and they just sent it out this afternoon. The day before release. Now I won't get it til sometime next week. I mean, I still get the download code emailed to me, but if I had ordered only the cd or vinyl, I'd be pissed the loyalty of a preorder is rewarded with a late delivery.

I loooove the samples they've been using in their album openers, and this one is no exception. I hope they keep doing it! I've never seen the movie it's from, but now I want to. It's how I discovered True Detective, that Rust Chole sample on Observer is raw as fuuuuck.
Right now my favorite song off this record is probably Walled City.

I'm sure the album will grow on me like the other more recent releases have, but I just miss the 2 steps and more hardcore elements. Too gloom metal for me. I can see how the progression came over the years but I'll always miss TDW/Continent Acacia Strain.
My favorites so far: Model Citizen (the drums in the chorus fucking slay), Worthless (another great intro track to kill to), Big Sleep (dat 2 step), Plague Doctor (more 2 step)
I would also love to know all the vocal features.

Just jammed this album today and my quick synopsis is that even with losing DL it is still a solid album and exactly what an old time fan wants to hear. I approve this album! 👌🏼

After having a while to really listen to this, I love it! I think this is one of the most naturally progressions a band in this genre has made. The keep doing what they do, but change things ever so slightly with each release. And they still manage to mix in things from older albums, even if the farther from an album they get, the less they mix in from the older release. I'm not mad at all.
