www.theverge.com/2017/4/24/15407210/spotify-hardware-plans-revealedThis is music news right? Maybe a tech section would be more appropriate but I think this fits well. What do you guys think? Eager to find out what Spotify's hardware project will be. I find myself downloading less and less, things are just too accessible now. Someone on the comment section predicted a pair of headphones with Spotify built in, which I think could be very cool!

I don't really see how or why people would get it when the Spotify app is an absolute banger by default. Plus everyone wants to carry as few devices as possible.

Interested to see what it could be. Hopefully it's not some kind of Amazon Echo clone. Literally no idea who those devices appeal to.

I agree with you, it would have to be something that is very accessible. For me, I still use my Ipod when working out and such, just because my phone is a little bulky, uses data, and doesn't connect to gym wifi as seamless as it should. It is probably going to fail. Seeing how these other tech companies are releasing camera built-in sunglasses and glowy pink mustaches just for the fun of it.

If they could work harder on getting all of After the Burial's last album, that'd make me happier...

This is interesting, as I was just thinking today about how I wish Spotify had a better equalizer.. So maybe they'll drop one with this. Although I don't want a device, I just want the EQ.

I've never understood the Spotify hype. I gave it a try and just don't get it. Maybe I'm still clinging onto "owning" my music library or something.
Like other than streaming playlists like Pandora, how would I convert to Spotify as my full time music source and abandon my iTunes library? I really don't feel like searching for and saving all the music I already have or would want.
