Drew Brees out as well with an injury that will probably end his career. Also, the Dolphins got fucking wrecked.

Drew Brees out as well with an injury that will probably end his career. Wait, what? Source? "Payton confirmed that Brees will have surgery on his right throwing thumb on Wednesday. And though Payton refused to speculate on a timetable for Brees' recovery, he did say that the Saints are not planning to place Brees on injured reserve -- which would require him to miss eight weeks." You heard that his thumb injury will end his career? What world are you living in?

I believe he was saying it in the sense that Brees doesn't have much longer before he retires (he is 40) so he maybe only has a year or two left and this might be the injury that reaffirms it. That's how I took it at least.

That's how I took it at least. Yeah i'm no Brees or Saints fan but that's horseshit. He'll be out for less than two months and back. This is a guy who's essentially missed no time in 15 seasons. He won't retire before Brady.

Part of me wonders if the women coming forward waited until Antonio Brown was finally in a position to win a championship, the other part doesn't care because fuck him if they're not lying.

I hope not for the sake of Brees ofcourse.

Hooooookayyyyy gottang ND was a tough opponent. Dawgs pulled though but I am not satisfied. Wondering how national attention will view this. Can't see us looking great against OSU and LSU for our coveted (though currently meaningless) #3 ranking. Irish will certainly be underrated following this game.
Rest of my picks were garbage. Between this week and fantasy, I think I clearly don't have the chops for calling this kinda stuff.
Ah, fuck it, I can't NOT make a homer call. It's in my blood. Falcons beat the colts by 17 tomorrow, calling it now! (EDIT: They did not beat the Colts by 17, or even at all for that matter.)

Going to the Michigan vs Rutgers game on Saturday. Got a free ticket from a co-worker, all I have to do is drive us there. Looking forward to it.

Burfict potentially facing a suspension for the rest of the season which would be the longest football related suspension in NFL history. And the scumbag deserves it, he's made a career of trying to injure other players and is a danger to everyone on the field. On top of that he's never shown a drop of remorse or a desire to improve his antics.
