Necro blows. I was hyped until I got into the beta. It's going to come out half-baked, sales are going to be poor, and Blizzard is going to shelve Diablo as a franchise for a while imo.

D3 was fun, the money goblin area (whatever it was called) and nephalem rifts were sweet, enjoyed D2 more though.
Looting for days!

There are a lot of problems with the class that are inherent to the way it has been designed, so no, I don't think they'll be able to fix it before it comes out. The necro relies on stacking mitigation and damage, 120-second cooldown abilities, and counter-intuitive sets (Pestilence Master makes no sense; the blood set is the only one I like but the damage is too low to justify the health-costs of your abilities). Plus the necro has a maximum of four skills per skill category while other classes have five (necro only has three primary and three secondary skills, too) and all four of the sets use the same slots, so you won't be able to combine two sets like wizards with Archon and Tal Rasha or barbarians with Immortal King and Raekor.

Crusader was kind of ballsack-tier when it first came out and now the thorns crusader is one of my favorite builds, so hopefully they can bring the necromancer up with patches. I think it has more serious design flaws rather than a numbers problem, though.

I miss diablo 2. Played diablo 3 but never filled the shoes of LOD. I played a demon Hunter a release and it was broken, made 15 bucks from the auction house.

us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/20845159They're kidding themselves if they think it's worth $15. Path of Exile is getting six new story acts for free and D3 is just getting one over-priced WD reskin. RIP.

I really loved the necro in D2, but after the reports of the beta, i expect a major disappointment. 15 bucks for this experiment is too much in my opinion... maybe it´s okay to charge money, but not that much for an half-baked community experiment Blizzard is Planning to Rerelease D2 in HD... maybe this will be thing again

I don't really have a problem with the pricepoint itself tbh, it's the content itself I have a problem with; the class sucks and is clearly half-baked. Necromancers are a cool archetype and I was looking forward to it finally being a thing in D3, but their implementation of it isn't good and nothing about the beta made me want to play more. I'll probably just roll another thorns crusader next season instead lol.
